Battlefield 1 May Update + Giveaway
Posted By: GamerDating - May 31, 2017
Battlefield 1 continues to deliver that cinematic fps experience and it is great to see constant updates with DICE rolling out fixes and amendments.
The May Update has hit and while it has brought along a few UI bugs (Hanks!) it has been widely received as a welcome patch.
The monthly update has hit rolling out updates to the Operations mode, allowing operations to loop back to start again instead of exiting.
With this change, a completed match of Operations will loop back to the same Operation rather than exiting the mode. However, you’ll be on the opposite side of the battlefield. For example, if you started as the French Army in the first Operation, you’ll be on the German side when it loops back after the “End of Operation” screen.
Bug fixes across game modes and gameplay, including a new "join operations button" which helps with the Operations.
In addition the vehicle changes, self-repair health reduction and time reductions (nerf/buff?) and increased stationary turret healths. Following on from AA, the aeroplanes have had a few rebalancing changes for mobility and damage.
Some huge changes, mostly unnoticed have been added to the options:
Added a camera shake advanced gameplay option to adjust the amount of camera shake caused by explosions, etc.
Added missing spotting animation when spotting a downed allied soldier as a medic with the Medical Syringe.
Automatically show low on ammo icons on friendly soldiers.
I'm primarily a foot soldier, avoiding vehicles, so these additions are welcome!
However, with that comes the bayonet charge nerf, adding louder footsteps, reduced turn speed and normal damage... good, and bad.
