CES 2018 is about to begin and GeForce are announcing whats to come.
GeForce are kicking off their tech with new TV's for your living room. While many games sit at their desktop, many do so because their TV in the living room is slow, laggy and not really great for gaming. Well, GeForce are releasing a screen with all those features, and more: the Big Format Gaming Display (BFGD). It’s the world’s first big-screen PC gaming display, specifically designed for enthusiast gamers seeking the ultimate 4K PC gaming experience with high refresh rates, low latency, PC-tuned HDR, and G-SYNC variable refresh rate technology.
The first BFGDs, coming later this year from ACER, ASUS and HP, are 65 inches, run at 4K at 120Hz, have G-SYNC technology, HDR with 1000 nit peak brightness, and an integrated NVIDIA SHIELD, giving you instant access to Netflix, Amazon Video and YouTube at 4K, NVIDIA GameStream, Android games and apps, and much more.

In addition, GeForce are also announcing GeForce NOW a new cloud gaming experience.
GeForce NOW uses the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPUs over the cloud allowing GeForce NOW to stream games with settings and frame rates that exceed what is possible on most PC laptops, underpowered desktop PCs or even to content-deprived Macs.
I guess limited by your internet connection you could get your Mac or Windows PC from 60FPS to 120FPS or higher, reducing latency.
GeForce opens up with a large selection of games and you get to try it now, for free!
Sign up to the Open Beta over at Nvidia.
Maybe this time cloud gaming will work...
