At today’s Oculus Connect 2, Palmer Luckey announced that the Windows 10 version of Minecraft will be compatible with the Oculus Rift headset. There aren’t many details as yet - the deal was apparently only confirmed early this morning. What we have been told is that the game will be available some time in spring 2016. The consumer version of the Rift hits retail shelves at some point in 'Q1' but no official word yet.
The event for Oculus developers and die-hard fans has had a few exciting announcements already. Samsung showed off the Gear VR which gets paired with any of their phones. They also announced Oculus Arcade - retro favorites remade for the Gear VR. Asus, Dell and Alienware have partnered with Oculus to create a line of computers that will work with the Rift from unboxing.
